Rise Up Remedies
Our farm is owned and operated by a small crew of two women. We prioritize ecosystem health through sustainable farming practices, like low tillage, cover cropping, and low water use. Many of our plants are perennial, meaning they require less nutrients, less water, and feed a diversity of beneficial pollinators. We not only offer a Fresh Herb CSA, but also host bi-monthly you-picks at our farm, where you can harvest your own medicinal herbs at a discounted rate.
If you’ve been dreaming of building your herbal home apothecary or working with fresh local medicinal herbs, you’re in luck! Our Fresh Medicinal Herb CSA provides a unique opportunity to connect more deeply with the natural world.
Our CSA consists of 7 monthly pickups over the course of the growing season (April – October), where members receive 3-4 hand-harvested medicinal herbs along with corresponding written herbal profiles and recipe suggestions.
We offer two different share options so you can choose which size is right for you; the Full Share or the Half Share. When you choose the Full Share, you can generally expect to receive around 1 pound of our herbaceous plants and our root crops or between a quart and a half gallon of our flower crops. If you choose the Half Share, each month you will receive half the amount of herbs in the Full Share.
- 24-28 fresh medicinal herbs and corresponding Medicinal Plant Profiles as well as recipe suggestions.
- Season: Monthly pickups from April – October (7 total)
- Pickup Days: First Monday of each month Pickup Time: 6-8PM Pickup
- Location: Wildish Botanicals (3327 SE Hawthorne Blvd. Portland, OR)
