Briarpatch Botanicals

Briarpatch Botanicals
Briarpatch Botanicals is a Certified Naturally Grown (CNG) vegetable and herb farm. We practice restorative, low-till farming and try to mimic natural processes to rebuild and improve our soils. Located in Boring at the base of Mt. Hood, we’re a small yet diverse farm.

At Briarpatch Botanicals, we believe that the healthiest food comes from healthy soils. We use multi-species cover crops to increase the biological activity in our soils, and never use chemical pesticides, herbicides, or fungicides. We take great care to promote a balance among the life within the soil, and we are rewarded with great tasting crops. We try to always keep a portion of our farm in the flowering stage to provide habitat to our pollinators. As people, we appreciate the beauty they bring to the farm as well.

We’re excited about our 2019 CSA season. Each share consists of 8-12 fresh picked items. While we grow all the staples, we also like to try new and exciting varieties. Look for delicious greens, hardy but flavorful root crops, open pollinated sweet corn, fresh herbs for teas, and so much more.
